Joint Clinic
Pain in joints can lead to stress, trauma, and other physical and emotional issues. Sometimes, joint pain can start from an early age itself due to stressful life, work-life imbalance, overstrain, obesity, and more. Arthralgia or joint pain can be caused by damage to muscles, bones, ligaments, cartilage, tendon, nerves, etc. We tend to ignore joint pains during younger ages, which leads to further complications in the older age. Common areas of joint pain are the wrist, elbow and shoulder, hip, and knees.

- Open surgery – with an incision above the joint, damaged tendons and ligaments are repaired.
- Fractured bones are repositioned and stabilized with the help of screws, pins, and plates.
- PRP therapy – plasma-rich platelet is obtained from the blood and injected into the joint for cell regeneration and activity.
- Knee replacement – a surgeon replaces part of a knee with implants or the whole knee with bio-compatible materials.
- Osteotomy – a little part of the bone is removed for better alignment and movement of the joint.
- Hip replacement – damaged part of hip bone and cartilages are removed and implants are placed.
