Circumcision Surgery
Circumcision is the surgical procedure of removing the foreskin of the penis. This is done for mainly religious or hygiene reasons. The procedure can be performed at any age and without any pain. Circumcision can reduce the risk of urinary tract infections and also STDs. It tends to reduce the risk of penile infections too.
The procedure
- A local anesthesia is administered.
- Surgeon frees the foreskin from the head of the penis and clips off the excess foreskin.
- Remaining section is reattached.
- In an alternate procedure, a modern device called ALISKLAMP is used. This is more simple and quicker and does not cause any pain. The healing time is faster too.
